Visa
Before Arriving to Vietnam, you m ust apply for a visa online. You can stay up to 90 days in the country as a Canadian. Here is the link to apply, the visa processing fee is $25 USD.

Internet Speeds & SIM Cards
The internet in Vietnam is usually incredible. I have almost never had a problem, and usually speeds are in the hundreds!
Safety
I can confirm that travelling as a woman alone in Vietnam, as in much of the rest of South East Asia, is very safe. I highly recommend this region of the world for solo female travel in general.
